Job summary

Schneider Electric in El Paso, TX is seeking a Production Manufacturing Engineer to implement ETO processes and champion continuous improvement across the plant. You will work closely with leadership to drive manufacturing excellence.

The role expects 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, a strong Lean mindset, and the ability to deploy standard processes, measure performance, and sustain improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Ability to define and deploy standard plant-wide processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement ETO standard processes for Methods and Maintenance within the plant.
• Develop and maintain standards with defined performance targets focused on CI, ergonomics, capacity, and costs.
• Establish Methods and Maintenance as a structured management system.
• Define annual improvement objectives with the Plant GM and track progress.
• Implement tools and methodologies for efficient, reliable manufacturing operations.
• Monitor KPIs: productivity, plant efficiency, capacity utilization, and capacity analysis.
• Drive the Methods and Maintenance transformation plan to achieve results.
• Prioritize critical improvements and maintain momentum.
• Support the Methods/Maintenance Manager in improvements.
• Lead Line Architecture Design Methodology (LADM) implementation.
• Determine standard manufacturing times using work measurement and time studies.
