Job summary

M&M Manufacturing, a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to design, improve, and own manufacturing processes at the Fort Worth, TX facility. You will translate product and operational requirements into stable, cost-effective methods while balancing safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency, and cost.

You will lead process improvements and support capital projects to drive manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field required or preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience supporting CAPEX development and execution including scope Definition, equipment, cost estimates, and startup.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methods.
• Ability to use production data, time studies, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and bottleneck analysis to identify opportunities.
• Hands-on Operations support experience including troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting automation post-launch and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and own manufacturing processes and defined production areas.
• Lead process improvements to reduce waste and improve capability.
• Support CAPEX development and equipment installations across Operations.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to Operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and process validations.
• Develop standard work, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
