M&M Manufacturing, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Manufacturing Optimization Engineer III in Fort Worth, TX. You will drive manufacturing performance by turning observations and data into practical improvements across plant leaders, maintenance, and automation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, standard work, and waste reduction.
• Experience implementing process improvements and driving organizational change.
• Project management ability and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience supporting automation initiatives and working with technical resources.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in gemba walks to identify gaps, waste, and improvement opportunities.
• Map and improve end-to-end value streams to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Lead Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and standard work development.
• Collaborate with plant leaders to sustain improvements over time.
• Evaluate layouts, equipment utilization, tooling, and production processes for improvements.
• Identify automation opportunities and coordinate with automation resources.
• Translate data and stakeholder feedback into prioritized roadmaps with clear owners.
• Use manufacturing metrics to guide decisions and communicate progress.
• Present findings and business impacts to plant and senior leadership.
• Contribute to the EZ Filter baseline project in the first 90 days.
