Job summary

Americas Cook Medical in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an engineer to provide technical support to Operations in efficiency, line layout, and day-to-day manufacturing operations.

You will train staff, assist CAPA investigations, drive Lean initiatives such as 6S and Daily Accountability, and lead continuous improvement projects, requiring a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least three years of manufacturing experience; strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing environments
• Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Intermediate MS Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio

Responsibilities

• Refine and update existing documentation.
• Assist with training and technical support of Operations personnel
• Assist with CAPA investigations and Corrective Actions
• Support Lean initiatives such as 6S, Daily Accountability process
• Support/lead continuous improvement projects
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Interact effectively with different levels of the organization
• Adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
