Job summary

Orizon is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and document daily production processes, create work instructions, and lead cost-reduction initiatives. The role involves collaborating with plant personnel, training staff, and investigating operational issues to maintain efficiency and safety.

The candidate should have lean experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with PFMEA, RCA, CATIA/Siemens NX, and MS Office. Ability to read blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• Lean training or experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PFMEA and root cause analysis.
• Experience with CATIA and/or Siemens NX.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Development and documentation of daily production processes.
• Creation of work instructions.
• Identify and evaluate areas for process improvements.
• Develop cost reduction programs with plant personnel to improve efficiency.
• Provide appropriate training.
• Investigate operational problems and resolve promptly and methodically.
• Prepare cost estimates including production times, staffing and related costs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
