Job summary

EIS Wire & Cable, Inc seeks an experienced Process Engineer for an on-site role in Western Massachusetts. You will develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, lead PFMEA and control plans, and support multiple departments to reduce downtime and scrap.

The position emphasizes hands-on problem solving, process standardization, and continuous improvement in a wire and cable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or related technical field, or an Associate's with relevant work experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal skills with ability to lead multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and optimize cost-effective manufacturing processes per specs and quality standards.
Create PFMEA/Control plans, develop processes, write specs, review equipment proposals, and prepare lists/drawings.
Provide technical support across departments; document process conditions for samples and first runs.
Assist in problem solving and root cause analysis to reduce downtime and scrap.
Develop and modify processes to improve performance and efficiency.
