Job summary

EIS Wire & Cable Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for an on-site role in its Western Massachusetts facility. The position focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet product specifications and quality standards.

The candidate will create PFMEA/Control plans, develop processes, review equipment proposals, and support multiple departments with engineering insights and problem solving to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Engineering or related field; associate degree with relevant experience accepted.
• 3+ years in manufacturing environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS-Office; familiarity with engineering tools is a plus.
• Experience documenting processes, SOPs, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize cost-effective manufacturing processes meeting specifications and quality standards.
• Create PFMEA/Control plans and write process specifications and equipment quotes.
• Provide technical support across departments and train operators on setup and test procedures.
• Solve process issues and drive root-cause analysis to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Develop and modify processes to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Establish and maintain process standards and procedures (One-Point Lessons, SOPs).
