Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) is seeking a manufacturing engineer to create and update manufacturing processes and layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, and material handling.

You will define operation sequences and procedures for assembly and integration, ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining MBOM in the MRP system, advising on manufacturability, and supporting capital equipment purchases.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field and 2+ years of related experience.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing on DoD contracts.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create/update manufacturing processes, procedures and layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, and material handling.
• Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for assembly and integration of products.
• Incorporate inspection/test requirements into production plan and maintain MBOM in MRP system.
