Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Liaison Engineer in Mesa, AZ, to support Armament Systems with design to cost and manufacturability improvements. You will work with design, production, and suppliers to optimize production processes and controls.

The role requires a BS in a related STEM field and 5+ years of experience or an MS with 3 years, including GD&T and NX CAD proficiency. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or closely related STEM field.
• 5+ years experience or MS+3 years in the role.
• Familiarity with GD&T and NX CAD.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, project, manufacturing and quality to achieve DFA/DFM targets.
• Provide design guidance to optimize manufacturability and cost.
• Interpret drawings and propose design changes for manufacturability.
