Job summary
Bosch is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Process Planner to own and optimize manufacturing processes across areas like welding, pressing, and honing. You will collaborate with Line Planners to drive long-term technical excellence, lead root-cause investigations, and implement data-driven improvements to yield and cycle time.
The role emphasizes developing and maintaining standards, PFMEAs, and control plans, while supporting equipment commissioning, new technology validation, and production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
- Experience leading technical improvement projects.
- Databricks or similar querying/analysis experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical owner for assigned manufacturing processes.
- Lead investigations using structured problem-solving methods (8D, A3, DOE, SPC, PFMEA).
- Develop permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurring problems.
- Lead projects to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Define critical process parameters and establish operation windows.
- Support validation of engineering changes and process modifications.
