This position is within our Engineering department and will collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Quality teams to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

The Engineer will work hands-on on the manufacturing floor, partnering with operators and serving as the technical authority on formulas and processes. The role involves balancing technical expertise with creative problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.

Additional responsibilities include managing capital projects (equipment and construction) and continuous improvement initiatives, leading project development, and executing solutions effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for manufacturing processes, overseeing process changes, troubleshooting issues, and reviewing new designs or modifications.
  • Represent Engineering in manufacturing projects, including formula scale-up, process optimization, and improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Engineering and Production to align on strategic objectives.
  • Manage engineering projects related to capital equipment and process improvements, ensuring clear communication and execution.
  • Collaborate on equipment design, selection, cost analysis, and budgeting.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, safety, installation, training, and handover.
  • Partner with Safety, Maintenance, Production, Packaging, and Quality teams to define project goals and ensure vendor accountability.
  • Lead startup, troubleshooting, and training for new equipment and processes.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with cGMP compliance and equipment design/installation.
  • Project management certification is preferred.
  • Passion for safety and creating a respectful, safe work environment.
