Job summary

kdc/one Northern Labs in Manitowoc, WI seeks a Plant Utilities Maintenance Engineer to supervise installation, repair and maintenance of facilities, ensuring resources and budget adherence.

You will lead maintenance, manage equipment, safety programs per OSHA, and coordinate with production and contractors to keep plant operations compliant and efficient.

Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing maintenance and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Associate degree – supervisory management or equivalent experience.
• Project Management – education or experience.
• Mechanical, plumbing, electrical system installations-education.
• 5-10 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with maintenance emphasis.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, DNR, and EPA standards as well as general building code and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility inspections and supervise installation/repair activities.
• Develop equipment modifications and coordinate parts purchasing.
• Lead facilities management maintenance and ensure budget adherence.
• Prepare maintenance budget sheets and monitor expenditures.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and support safety programs.
