Job summary

GE Aerospace in Erlanger, KY seeks a Site IT Leader to run all information technology for a manufacturing plant, owning the performance, reliability, and availability of infrastructure and software applications enabling shop operations.

You will partner with business and operations teams to drive digital improvements and support continuous operational excellence, leading the roadmap and managing networking and site IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years IT experience, or an associate with 7+ years in manufacturing IT.
• Minimum 3 years leading site IT operations within a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Experience stabilizing site infrastructure incl. networking, PCs, wireless, RF scanners, printers, A/V, telecom.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT roadmap and digital improvements across infrastructure and applications.
• Partner with operations to drive lean initiatives and business transformation.
• Monitor network performance and escalate issues.
• Collaborate with central product teams for faster resolution of networking and application issues.
• Drive technology obsolescence and improvement projects.
