Job summary

Wickeder Group │ Engineered Materials Solutions in Attleboro, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Planner to coordinate and optimize manufacturing schedules. You will ensure efficient use of resources and meet production deadlines, collaborating with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Production, Customer Service and Engineering.

This full-time, on-site role requires an Associate degree or equivalent manufacturing planning experience, and strong MS Office and MRP/ERP system skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, material availability and priorities.
• Monitor production orders and communicate delays or shortages to departments.
• Determine material requirements from engineering, schedules, and demand.
• Coordinate material availability with Purchasing, Production, Customer Support and Engineering.
• Maintain planning records and monitor inventory levels and replenishment requirements.
• Support purchase requisitions and orders to meet material needs.
• Monitor on-time delivery and production performance against goals.
• Identify shortages, excess inventory, and scheduling issues and escalate as needed.
• Communicate planning requirements and schedule changes to Operations and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and improve planning tools and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce inventory and improve flow.
