Job summary

CTS International seeks a Manufacturing Planner to join the E4B team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves developing and maintaining manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and tooling requirements to define as-built configuration.

Responsibilities include creating data packages for suppliers, solving production issues, and supporting producibility assessments. Onsite, with potential for extension or full-time conversion.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • At least 1 year in manufacturing or related support environment.
  • Experience applying technical writing in cross-functional teams.
  • AA degree in related discipline or equivalent.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
  • Resolve technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule.
  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements.
  • Create installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio.
  • Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects.
  • Work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.
  • May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to support business needs and deadlines.

Seeking a Manufacturing Planner to become part of the E4B team in San Antonio, TX.

The selected candidate will develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as‑built configuration. The candidate will assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. The team member will assist with the investigation and resolution of manufacturing‑related issues. May also be responsible for collecting data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs. The successful candidate will assist in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners, and in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. The team member will work under close supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.

What you’ll need
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • 1+ years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
  • 1+ years’ experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Previous Company Experience as ME.
  • Gold ESP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills.

AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
