Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Part-time Manufacturing Packing & Shipping associate. This role supports the manufacturing department by moving products and assembling shipping containers to improve workflow and on-time delivery. Flexible scheduling may follow onboarding and performance goals.

The position runs MON–FRI, 6:00am–2:30pm, up to 28 hours per week, with a potential shift to a more flexible schedule after onboarding. Location: Wallingford facility and address in CT.

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW

Working as Part-time Manufacturing Packing & Shipping, you will directly support to the manufacturing department by moving product and making shipping containers to increase work flow and on-time delivery of our product. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Moving finished product and making shipping containers
• Loading product on trucks
• Working directly with sales and manufacturing on ship methods and ship times
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $20/hr -28/hr. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
