Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Wallingford, CT is seeking a part-time Manufacturing Packing & Shipping associate to move product and prepare shipping containers to support on-time delivery.

Shifts are Mon-Fri 6:00am–2:30pm with up to 28 hours/week; a flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding and training.

Base pay ranges from $20 to $28 per hour, with eligibility for bonus/commission; candidates should have strong math, communication, and organizational skills and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW

Working as Part-time Manufacturing Packing & Shipping, you will directly support to the manufacturing department by moving product and making shipping containers to increase work flow and on-time delivery of our product. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• o Moving finished product and making shipping containers
• o Loading product on trucks
• o Working directly with sales and manufacturing on ship methods and ship times
• o Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• o Prior shipping or receiving experience
