Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Brookfield, CT is hiring a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to deliver inventory, replenish vending equipment and service customer sites from our local branch at 2 Production Dr, Brookfield.

You will handle deliveries, replenishments and order placement while interacting with customers daily. This role supports a dynamic branch with MON-FRI shifts, up to 28 hours per week, and requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record as required for company vehicle use.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 2 Production Dr, Brookfield, CT 06804.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries
• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
