Job summary

Avient Corporation in West Chicago, IL invites applicants for an entry-level Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will weigh and package materials, verify batch accuracy, and support the line to meet quality and delivery targets.

Working on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Sunday–Thursday, you earn $20.00 per hour. Benefits start day one, with a bi-annual bonus plan, PTO, 401(k) match, and safety-focused training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to use unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Obtains the correct documentation for the batch and ensures ingredients are delivered.
• Sets up and starts weigh-up or packaging machinery, checking controls for safety procedures.
• Notifies personnel of issues in a timely manner.
• Safely processes, batches, screens, and packages material to specifications.
• Supports Production Operators and maintains equipment operation.
• Performs machine cleaning and completes required paperwork.
