Advance Services Inc. in the Chicagoland area is seeking a Packing Associate to join a busy warehouse team. The role offers $16.50 per hour with a Mon-Thu schedule, typically 2:30pm–1am, and opportunities to grow with a leading local employer.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete receiving documentation for raw materials and packaging
• Verify purchase orders against bills of lading and assign lot numbers
• Ensure inventory rotation using FIFO (first expiring, first out)
• Report issues with ingredients or finished goods to Supervisor and QC daily
• Use RF scanners to pick, stage, and store materials
• Load and unload trucks as directed
• Prepare and stack materials for outbound shipments
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and quality using the BB Trailer Inspection form
• Communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor or clerks
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, keeping aisles free of debris
• Complete forklift inspection logs and ensure battery charging and water levels
• Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records
• Generate monthly disposal reports
• Perform monthly and annual physical inventory counts as directed by management
