Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in aggregate recycling operations or similar process/production environment
  • Ability to lead safety culture and conduct daily safety meetings
  • Experience coordinating production, logistics, and maintenance activities

Responsibilities

  • Own plant operations to meet throughput, quality, and profitability targets
  • Lead safety culture; oversee safety meetings; enforce programs; investigate incidents
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements including environmental and labor regs
  • Plan and direct daily operations; monitor workflow and KPIs; implement improvements and cost savings
  • Oversee maintenance; coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance; manage maintenance docs
  • Supervise and develop plant personnel; manage scheduling, attendance, and performance feedback
  • Communicate with Area Manager, Sales, and Dispatch about inbound/outbound materials and trucking
  • Support customer/vendor relationships; ensure product availability and service levels
  • Maintain reporting and stay current through training and industry best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll do:
  • Own overall plant operations (production, material handling, inventory, and logistics) to meet throughput, quality, and profitability targets.
  • Lead safety culture: conduct/oversee daily safety meetings, enforce ARC 100 and company safety programs, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, including environmental and labor regulations.
  • Plan and direct daily operations; monitor workflow and KPIs; identify and implement operational improvements and cost savings.
  • Oversee maintenance and reliability: ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed, coordinate repairs and downtime planning, and verify maintenance documentation.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop plant personnel; manage scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, performance feedback, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Communicate routinely with Area Manager, Sales, and Dispatch regarding inbound/outbound materials, quantities, trucking needs, and upcoming work.
  • Support customer and vendor relationships; ensure product availability and service meet expectations.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation; stay current through training and industry best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
  • Experience: 3+ years in aggregate recycling operations or other process/production environment (5+ years and crushing plant equipment experience preferred)
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time at conveyor belt operation.
  • Ability to climb heights of 20 feet on a regular basis.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work industy, wet, and loud environment.
  • Required to wear safety equipment including hardhat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs,glovesand various othersimilar itemsasrequiredor needed.
