Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee daily production, drive efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing settings. You will manage staff, optimize workflows, control inventory, and maintain equipment to meet targets.

Bridge shop floor activities with strategic goals through lean initiatives, including 5S and Visual Factory, and use data analysis for continuous improvement across prototyping and high-mix environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with continuous improvement in a manufacturing operations or supply chain.
• Fabrication supervision experience.
• Electrical assembly supervision experience.
• Experience in quality or quality management.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Visual Factory, Six Sigma).
• Experience in supply chain management (warehouse operations, production planning, procurement).
• Experience leading cross-functional prototyping and low-rate high-mix manufacturing teams.
• Ability to enforce safety regulations, ensure compliance, manage maintenance, and identify bottlenecks and waste for continuous improvement.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management.
