Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for its Sustainable Technologies facility in Riverview, FL. You will lead the manufacturing operations, drive financial, quality, safety and delivery objectives, and manage staffing, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience, and expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, OSHA/cGMP compliance, and production software such as SAP/NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Several years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing production, with 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma experience preferred: Proficiency in process improvement, waste reduction, and quality control.
• Safety & compliance knowledge including OSHA regulations and cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a high-performance, union-free workplace through clear expectations and training.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Plant Leadership to improve efficiency, cost, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with policies, cGMP and EHS requirements across production.
• Drive Continuous Improvement using COS, Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, SMED, 6S, and OEE.
• Develop, coach and mentor direct reports with performance reviews and succession planning.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets; lead cost-control initiatives across production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices and support plant growth.
• Lead and train employees toward team concepts and empowered performance.
