Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Production Operator for our Columbus, GA facility. The role involves starting, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment according to the production schedule to ensure safe, efficient cycles.

There are three operator levels (I-III) determined by experience and ability. You will work on the plant floor with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation in a team setting.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment safely.
• Meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
• Ensure product meets tolerances and specifications.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and records.
• Inspect equipment and materials for defects prior to production.
• Read and follow work orders and formulas to meet production specs.
• Record operational data and report malfunctions to supervision.
