Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Production Operator who starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely. Three levels exist (I, II, III) determined by experience and ability to independently troubleshoot and solve machine issues to maintain efficient cycles and minimal downtime.

You will operate equipment including industrial blenders, follow the production schedule, perform routine inspections, document production data, and work as part of a team to ensure

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of manufacturing equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain assigned machines following standard work procedures.
• Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
• Ensure product meets tolerances and specifications.
• Perform routine quality inspections and document results.
• Understand and follow production instructions and formulas.
• Maintain accurate production paperwork and logs.
• Inspect equipment, structures and materials for defects before production.
• Read work orders and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Weigh and mix raw materials as required.
• Transfer materials between work areas as needed.
• Discharge blenders of powder when necessary.
• VerifyBlended product meets quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly between runs.
• Complete cleaning logs and coordinate with QA for hygiene testing.
• Record operational data and report malfunctions to supervision.
• Participate in ongoing QA and process improvement efforts.
