Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
• Studies work orders and specifications to ensure proper setup sequence is followed.
• Selects, places, and secures tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Observes tasks to verify quality performance.
• Verifies measuring instruments are in proper working order.
• Sets and adjusts controls to regulate machines.
• Cleans equipment and maintains a clean manufacturing area.
• Reads directions to operate machinery and handle materials.
• May train as forklift operator or other powered equipment handler.
• Reports issues to supervisor.
• Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to policies.
