Job summary

Preferred Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support safe plant operations and equipment readiness in Florida. You will operate a forklift, calibrate machinery, perform basic repairs, and help maintain clean, organized work areas to ensure smooth production.

This full-time role requires following written and verbal instructions, passing pre-employment screenings, and working flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Some travel to other facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and move materials safely.
• Calibrate machines and perform basic repairs; install molds and parts as needed.
• Use basic hand tools to maintain equipment and repair mechanical issues.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; report any safety issues to maintenance.
• Inspect forklift and machinery to ensure safe operation; comply with OSHA regulations.
• May travel to other company facilities as needed.
