Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Operator to support manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, moving materials, and ensuring products meet specifications, quality, and safety standards. You will perform equipment setup, routine inspections, material movement, and documentation while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

You will cross-train across multiple production areas to support operational flexibility and consistently deliver “Right. On Time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical or vocational training program preferred.
• 1 year of experience operating production equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Set up and operate production equipment such as panel lines and seamer tables.
• Perform material handling including loading coils and moving raw materials.
• Inspect products visually and dimensionally using measuring tools.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Report equipment issues and support basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, and safety.
• Ensure QC is performed at each work center per standards.
• Cross-train and assist in multiple production areas as needed.
