Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner Technician to support production, material handling, and quality across multiple production areas. You will follow safety procedures and operate equipment to deliver high-quality output aligned with company standards.

You will also assist with setup, basic troubleshooting, and cross-training in multiple areas. The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and adherence to the company values: Own It, Can Do, Act in Love.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication preferred.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Support setup and operation of assigned workstations and processes.
• Perform material handling tasks including loading raw materials and moving products.
• Assist Operators by monitoring machine output and assisting with basic troubleshooting.
• Complete production tasks using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control is performed at each work center per standards and feedback.
