Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a Manufacturing Operator II in the United States to set up and continuously run production machinery on the shop floor, including presses and CDCH coating lines, following safety and quality standards.

You will perform die set-ups and material changes, troubleshoot issues, stock materials, assist tooling, and complete documentation and BPCS transactions while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer literacy with Excel; BPCS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over production machinery including die set-up and material changes.
• Ensure continuous operation of machinery to minimize downtime.
• Operate presses and CDCH coating lines for prep, coating, sheet separating and deframing of gaskets.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain quality.
• Keep each machine stocked with material; assist tooling with dies.
• Provide light maintenance (oil/grease) and complete paperwork/BPCS transactions.
• Assist in general housekeeping and adhere to safety policies.

Able to operate all presses and/or CDCH coating lines in compliance with the company’s standards.Responsibilities: Responsible to set-up and change over production machinery including die set-up and material changes.Responsible for continuous operation of machinery in order to eliminate any unnecessary downtime.Able to operate all presses and/or CDCH coating operations consisting of prep, coating, sheet separating and de-framing of gaskets while also maintaining rate that is part specific.Able to troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards.Responsible to make sure each machine is stocked with material throughout the shift.Assist tooling personnel in correcting any potential issues with a die.Able to provide light maintenance on machines or a die including by not limited to oiling and greasing.Responsible to complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department.Responsible to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.Qualifications/ Experience: Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:Manufacturing experience a plus.Licenses/Certifications:N/AAdditional Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Preferred:(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong written and verbal communication skillsBasic math skillsHighly motivatedStrong time management and priorities management skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsComputer literate with knowledge of Excel.
