Job summary

ALKEGEN is seeking an operator to set up and change over production machinery, including die changes, and to keep operations running with minimal downtime.

You will operate presses and CDCH coating lines, handle prep, coating, and sheet separation, and troubleshoot issues to sustain quality. Strong math, communication, and basic computer literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Highly motivated with good time management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Excel; BPCS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and change over production machinery including die set-up and material changes.
• Ensure continuous operation to minimize downtime.
• Operate presses and CDCH coating lines including prep, coating, sheet separating and deframing; maintain rate.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain quality standards.
• Keep each machine stocked with material throughout the shift.
• Assist tooling personnel with correcting die issues.
• Provide light maintenance on machines or a die (oil/grease).
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist in general housekeeping of the department.
• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties or special projects as required.

• Responsible for continuous operation of machinery in order to eliminate any unnecessary downtime.
• Able to operate all presses and/or CDCH coating operations consisting of prep, coating, sheet separating and de-framing of gaskets while also maintaining rate that is part specific.
• Able to troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards.
• Responsible to make sure each machine is stocked with material throughout the shift.
• Assist tooling personnel in correcting any potential issues with a die.
• Able to provide light maintenance on machines or a die including but not limited to oiling and greasing.
• Responsible to complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.
• Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department.
• Responsible to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
