Vicor Corporation, an American manufacturer of high-density 48V DC-DC converters, is hiring on the 1st shift in Minnesota. This entry-level opportunity is designed to start your career in fast-paced manufacturing and gain hands-on experience on advanced assembly lines.

Operators will follow written or verbal instructions to assemble and test products, monitor equipment, and report downtime. You will use microscopes, hand tools, and test equipment while cross-training across several assembly work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test tasks on automated VI Chip PCB Assembly line.
• Operate work center equipment to meet production rates and report downtime or malfunctions.
• Utilize microscopes, hand tools, measurement and test equipment daily.
• Cross-train and certify in at least four package assembly work centers including SMD, Underfill, Transformer Assembly, Mold, Laser Mark, Cut, J-Lead or Test.
• Perform all responsibilities within the company’s guidelines of quality, safety and cost.
• Work with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Perform any additional tasks as requested or directed.
