Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. Odessa location is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support the Concrete Division. You will operate forklifts, perform machine adjustments, repairs and mold maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and holidays when needed. Travel to other company facilities may be required as part of operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and complete basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift efficiently.
• Calibrate and maintain machines, repair as needed, and install molds and parts for safe operations.
• Use power and hand tools to maintain equipment and perform repairs.
• Keep work area clean and orderly, follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
