Job summary

Preferred Materials - Concrete Division, a CRH company, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support plant operations in Florida. You will operate forklifts, perform machine adjustments and basic repairs, and help maintain safe, efficient production.

The role requires good communication, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is required, with travel to other facilities as needed. Our team emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift efficiently.
• Adjust calibration of machines, perform general repairs and install molds and parts as needed to maintain safe operations.
• Use power and hand tools to maintain and repair equipment.
• Shovel, sweep and rake debris from base of machinery.
• Communicate effectively with all personnel.
• Inspect forklift to ensure safe operation and report issues to maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• May travel to other company facilities as needed.
