Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to run small bindery and ancillary machines. We’ll train you to set up, run, and maintain equipment, monitor quality, and hit daily production goals.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, are mechanically inclined, and enjoy hands-on work. No bindery experience is required—we train you for long-term career growth in print manufacturing.

• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

We’re looking for people who:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
• On your feet for most of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
