Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Operator - Bindery on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM). No bindery experience is required—we train you to operate high-speed binding equipment and ancillary machinery.

You’ll work in a team to meet daily production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. You’ll learn setup, operation, and maintenance of sewers, drills, shrink wrap, and other bindery tools.

Competenze

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Able to read basic instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes).
• Pride in quality work and reliable team member.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
• On your feet for most of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
