Mercury Plastics in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Operator to join our team. This entry-level role trains you on loading product and materials into equipment, counting and packing finished parts, and ensuring quality while meeting output targets.

You will work on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm–11:00pm) with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour. We offer comprehensive benefits and a safety-focused environment where ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Load or insert product into various machines and activate the machine.
• Unload product, visually inspect and pack product.
• Maintain cycle times to meet/exceed minimum rates.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality specifications.
• Pack finished parts for shipment; may include packaging tape.
• Keep equipment and work area clean.
• Read and interpret Work Instructions.

Job Summary:

An established manufacturing company in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate does not need experience!! We will train for this position! The Manufacturing Operator works in a team environment; loading product and material into equipment and containers, counting and packing product and ensuring quality while meeting expected output.

Key Responsibilities

• Load or insert product into various machines and activate the machine
• Unload product, visually inspect and pack product
• Maintain cycle times to meet/exceed minimum rates
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Pack finished parts for shipment, may include using packaging tape
• Keep equipment and work area clean
• Know and follow all OSHA and Mercury Plastics safety rules
• Read and Interpret Work Instructions

Organization and Relationships

• The Manufacturing Operator reports to an Area Manager and Shift Lead to meet production and quality goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand and walk for full shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to twist, pull, push, kneel, and bend
• Must be able to identify quality variances visually
