Mercury Plastics in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Injection Mold Operator. The role requires following training parameters to operate molding machines, monitor cycle times, and ensure safe, efficient production on a Sunday–Thursday schedule.

You will load and unload tubes, inspect parts for quality, pack finished goods, and keep the work area clean. Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred; standing for a full shift and lifting up to 50 pounds are required.

Mercury Plastics is hiring in Middlefield, Ohio for a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Operator Shift: 3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am Pay Rate: $20.50-$23.00/hr, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Job Summary:

An established manufacturing company in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' experience in a manufacturing setting. The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for following the training parameters to become proficient in injection molding machines

Key Responsibilities :

• Load plastic tubes onto molding machine and activate the machine
• Unload tubes from core pins at the end of the molding cycle
• Maintain cycle times
• Visually inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Pack finished parts for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

Organization and Relationships:

The Injection Mold Operator reports to an Area Manager and Shift Lead to meet production and quality goals.

Job Requirements:

To qualify for the Injection Molding Operator position, the candidate is required to have:

• Hand-eye coordination
• Intermediate math skills
• Must be able to identify quality variances visually

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand and walk for full shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to twist, pull, push, kneel, and bend
