Job summary

Epredia in Kalamazoo is hiring a 2nd Shift Operator, Manufacturing to run equipment, perform routine quality checks, and ensure smooth production. You will follow GMP, participate in 5S/PPIs, complete changeovers, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with shift premium; benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching up to 6%, and an annual incentive bonus plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and complete paperwork.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and run manufacturing processes.
• Perform routine quality checks and inspect finished goods.
• Complete work orders, set-up/changeover, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; follow GMP and safety regulations.
• Participate in 5S, PPI and other continuous improvement projects.

Starting compensation is $19.00/hour Shift Premium for 2nd shift

We’re seeking a reliable and motivated 2nd Shift Operator, Manufacturing to join our production team. This role is responsible for running equipment, performing routine quality checks, and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing processes. What will be doing:

Tasks associated with the operation, inspecting and packaging of finished goods, including quality checks (visual inspection of parts for defects - fill levels, packaging and others) Completing production operations work orders accurately Performing equipment set-up and change over, basic preventative maintenance, cleaning of equipment, work area and facility while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements. Applies Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles in all areas of responsibility Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), 5S, and other continuous improvement and lean projects Comply with safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedures Exercise proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniques

Skills you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), provide clear documentation and complete appropriate paperwork.
• English language fluency required - including ability to speak, read and write without assistance
