Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s Wheatfield facility in the United States is hiring for a production team member. You will work with a crew to meet safety, production, and quality goals, operate industrial equipment, and perform product quality checks.

Roles include assisting with setups, troubleshooting, and asset care while learning multiple machine centers. Expect physical work with PPE and rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six (6) months of work experience in any field.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to exceed safety, production, and quality goals.
• Operate production equipment and machinery in an industrial environment.
• Perform quality checks on products.
• Assist crew members with setups, troubleshooting, asset care, and other duties.
• Learn and support machine centers to relieve operators as needed.
• Use hand tools and handle product weights up to 50 pounds.
• Follow all safety and plant rules, wearing PPE as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and participate in housekeeping.
• Be prepared to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
