Job summary

Alleima’s Medical BU is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to participate in producing components for medical devices in a climate-controlled facility in the USA. You will set up and run machines, monitor processes, perform in-process quality checks, and report equipment malfunctions.

The role supports manufacturing and packaging steps across a production line with PPE required. We offer a starting rate of $18.00 per hour with yearly merit increases, 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday, quarterly

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Dependability, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, work in manufacturing, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run manual, automatic and/or semiautomatic machines and related equipment.
  • Follow production specifications and monitor parameters to ensure adherence.
  • Perform in-process quality checks using gauges and meters.
  • Report malfunctions and make minor adjustments or repairs.
  • Handle varied job durations with frequent setup changes.

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will use equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production process in a climate-controlled environment to create products and distribute them to customers.

  • Set-up and run manual, automatic and/or semiautomatic machines and related ancillary equipment in a production / processing operation
  • Follow production / process specifications or instructions to manufacture a product. This may include monitoring speed, temperature, diameter measuring equipment, flow meters, gauges, valve position to ensure adherence to production / process specifications.
  • Perform in process quality checks for process and product characteristics using prescribed gauges, meters, microscopes and micrometers.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Jobs may be of short, medium or long duration, requiring frequent change in set up and variation in cycle.
