Job summary

Alleima BU Medical is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize uptime.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and certifications or technical training in maintenance or related fields. A valid driver’s license is preferred and CMMS skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic).
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and ability to read technical drawings/schematics.
  • Ability to manage multiple maintenance priorities with minimal disruption to production.
  • Basic computer skills to log maintenance records and use CMMS software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection reports.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in installing new equipment and ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all tasks.

Your Role

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at Alleima, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, reliability, and longevity of production equipment and facilities.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
  • Assist in installing new equipment and ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
About You

You are proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Your strong understanding of maintenance processes, tools, and best practices makes you a valuable asset to our team. Familiarity with PLC systems and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals are essential skills for this role.

You can work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption to production. Basic computer skills are necessary to maintain digital records and utilize maintenance management software.

With a minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, you bring a wealth of knowledge to our team. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and practices is highly valued. A high school diploma or GED is required, and certification or technical training in maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a related field is preferred. A valid driver’s license is also necessary.
