Job summary

Cooper Standard Automotive is seeking reliable Manufacturing Operators to safely operate equipment, produce quality parts, and support our manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment located in Fairview, MI. Starting wage starts at $15.91 per hour with shift premiums for eligible shifts and a potential temp-to-hire track.

Employees may convert to permanent roles after 4–6 months with a wage progression up to $19.20 per hour and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision after

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing floor environment
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required
• Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed

Employment & Benefits

This position begins as a contingent assignment through one of our staffing partners. Employees with strong performance and attendance are typically considered for permanent employment after approximately 4-6 months, based on business needs.

Upon conversion to permanent employment, employees are eligible for:

• A pay increase to $16.49/hour
• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (effective the first day of the month following conversion)
• 401(k) eligibility in accordance with plan guidelines
• Paid time off and holiday pay
• Shift premiums where applicable
• Additional wage progression up to $19.20/hour within approximately 18 months
