What You'll Be Doing
  • Performing repetitive assembly operations for intravenous solutions like Sodium Chloride and Dextrose, following Bill of Materials, Blueprints, Specs, SOPs, and GMP standards. Ensuring all components are present and inspecting products at each manufacturing stage.
  • Rotating through assigned work areas with proper training per Baxter’s procedures.
  • Verifying correct and good-condition parts before use.
  • Filling IV bags with specified solutions as per SOP.
  • Manually assembling the “enhance closure” on IV bags following BOM, Specs, and SOPs.
  • Supplying materials to the line as needed.
  • Organizing bags uniformly on the production line.
  • Inspecting each IV bag for quality, including batch codes, printing, particles, and defects.
  • Covering bags with over-pouches and sealing with appropriate machines.
  • Organizing over-pouches on trucks according to product patterns (SSL only).
  • Inspecting bags against backgrounds to identify particles and ensure defect-free products.
  • Packaging, sealing, weighing, and palletizing final units per BOM, Specs, and SOPs (SSL only). Tasks may vary, requiring operation rotation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Reporting unsafe conditions or equipment deviations.
  • Following company policies, EHS regulations, GMP, and GDP, and participating in safety inspections and incident analysis.
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma; two years of college preferred.
  • Fluent in reading and writing Spanish.
  • Basic English skills (reading and speaking).
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Ability to operate team interfaces and understand instructions.
  • Good reading comprehension, documentation skills, and communication.
  • Availability for overtime.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team.
  • Physical ability to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally and 10-25 lbs. frequently, with good visual and motor skills.
  • Exposure to cold, semi-wet environments, moving machinery, and chemicals.
  • Proper PPE use, including safety shoes, glasses, uniforms, and ear protection.
