As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be driven by the knowledge that your work helps produce life-saving products. What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform repetitive assembly operations for intravenous solutions, such as Sodium Chloride and Dextrose, following Bill of Materials, Blueprints, Specs, SOPs, GMP, and safety standards. Verify all components and inspect products at each manufacturing stage.
  • Rotate through assigned work areas with proper training per Baxter’s processes.
  • Ensure parts are appropriate and in good condition.
  • Fill IV bags with specified solutions according to SOPs.
  • Manually assemble “enhance closure” on IV bags following BOM, Specs, and SOPs.
  • Supply materials as needed and organize bags on the production line.
  • Inspect each IV bag for quality, including batch code, printing, particles, and defects.
  • Organize and cover bags with over pouches as specified, sealing with the appropriate machine.
  • Arrange over pouches on trucks following product patterns (SSL only).
  • Inspect bags against backgrounds to detect particles, ensuring defect-free products.
  • Package, seal, weigh, and palletize final units following BOM, Specs, and SOPs (SSL only). Tasks may vary, requiring operational rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace per procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow company policies, EHS regulations, GMP, and GDP, and participate in safety inspections and incident analysis.
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma; two years of college preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish reading and writing.
  • Basic English skills (reading and speaking).
  • Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.
  • Ability to operate interfaces and understand instructions.
  • Strong reading comprehension, documentation skills, and communication.
  • Availability for overtime and multitasking.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Physical ability to lift 20-50 lbs. as required.
  • Exposure to cold, wet surfaces, moving machinery, and chemicals in the work environment.
  • Use of appropriate safety equipment as per policies.
