Job summary

US Hose is seeking a production supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations on the production floor. You will supervise 1 to 50 employees, assign tasks, and ensure schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires a certificate or technical training with strong leadership and planning abilities. Familiarity with reading blueprints, safety guidelines, and inventory software is preferred to optimize workflow and meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes employee schedule based on production requirements.
• Generate production schedules to reflect completion dates to sales.
• Create, manage, and close production orders through the manufacturing department.
• Review order variances for accuracy.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods and quality.
