Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a dedicated line operator to run a high-speed packaging line, ensuring food safety and quality. You will operate and adjust equipment, document outcomes, and collaborate across shifts on-site with 12-hour days (3 days one week, 4 the next).

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work overtime. Emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and following PPE rules.

  • Working grasp of computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust production equipment to established standards.
  • Hit daily production goals and ensure seamless handoffs with the previous shift.
  • Perform container checks, record findings, and document adjustments.
  • Maintain material levels and keep machines and areas clean.
  • Follow safety policies and wear PPE; assist with after-hours tasks as needed.

Hit the target: Align to daily production goals and product specs; collaborate with the previous shift to ensure seamless handoffs. Guard quality: Perform container checks, record findings, and document any machine adjustments. Stay stocked & tidy: Maintain raw material levels and keep machines/areas free of debris. Lead with safety: Follow all policies and wear PPE correctly; help clean assigned building areas/equipment when directed by your Supervisor.
