Job summary

ABB in Pinetops, North Carolina, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead medium-size electrical power systems projects. You will ensure execution per procedures, regulations, and targets while guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver contracted outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 12–14 years of PM and engineering management experience, PMP or similar certification, and comfort with both waterfall and Agile approaches. Domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master's preferred.
• 12–14 years of PM and engineering management in electrical power systems.
• Direct experience in electrical/mechanical industry with product development.
• PM certification preferred; experience with stage-gate projects; Agile is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of medium-size projects and ensure activities follow procedures and standards.
• Guide project teams to meet requirements, deliverables, and project results.
• Develop execution plans with delivery milestones, cost estimates, and risk mitigation.
• Provide high-quality reporting on project status to senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, QA, and Operations.
