Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Full-time Manufacturing Support to help run daily operations at our CT180 Manufacturing Facility.

The role focuses on cost estimation for custom fasteners, MRO, and OEM parts, with a potential flexible schedule after onboarding and performance goals are met. Responsibilities include supporting branches, estimating production times, ordering materials, and scheduling production.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs.
