Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Analyst to join the Wallingford facility. You will collaborate with operations, manufacturing, sales, sourcing and purchasing teams to ensure inventory is available at the best cost and lead times are met.

You will analyze data to optimize processes and contribute to a growing product portfolio. The role includes forecasting, costing and scheduling duties with potential for a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and performance

Qualifications

• The candidate must have at least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis is essential.
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory meets lead time expectations and is accurately priced.
• Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, sales, sourcing and purchasing teams.
• Forecasting, costing and scheduling for continuous improvement.
• Analyze data to meet customer demand and optimize production planning.
